Production process
COMET creates tailor-made rubber compounds which will then be transformed into gaskets, o-rings, profiles, tubes and technical articles for the most varied applications, establishing itself as a leader in the sector of organic and silicone rubber compounds. Investments over the years have increased the fully automated production capacity up to 35,000 tons, which today makes COMET able to satisfy the major European rubber users.
Black organic compounds
All formulations are carbon black based, mixed with natural or synthetic polymers.
Solid compounds
Hardness range from 30 to 90 Shore A.
Sponge compounds
Density range from 0.30 to 0.90 g/cm3.
